The honorarium for Special Police Officers (SPOs) of Jammu and Kashmir, who’ve been serving to safety forces to sort out militancy, was elevated after the Union Ministry of Home Affairs on Wednesday authorized in Jammu and Kashmir. Dilbagh Singh, J&Ok DGP mentioned “Keeping in mind the work and service by the special police officers (SPO) of Jammu & Kashmir Police, Govt of India has accepted J&K’s proposal to increase their honorarium. The proposal was passed in a very short period of time. It will encourage our SPOs.”
