उत्तराखंड हाईकोर्ट ने UPNL आउटसोर्स कर्मचारियों को एक साल के भीतर नियमावली के अनुसार Contract Worker को नियमित करने और उन्हें न्यूनतम वेतनमान देने का आदेश पारित किया है. कुंदन सिंह नेगी ने हाईकोर्ट के मुख्य न्यायाधीश को पत्र भेजकर उपनल द्वारा की जा रही नियुक्तियों पर रोक लगाने की मांग की थी. हाईकोर्ट ने इसका संज्ञान लेते हुए इसे जनहित याचिका के रूप में स्वीकार कर लिया था. जिसके बाद यह आदेश दिया था. जिसको राज्य सरकार ने सुप्रीम कोर्ट में चुनौती दी है. जिसकी आज सुनवाई में क्या हुआ, आइये जानते हैं-
