Nobel Peace Prize-winning Professor Muhammad Yunus delivered his Special Session, ‘The 3 Zeroes: Zero Poverty, Zero Unemployment, Zero Net Carbon Emissions.’ Speaking to 1,300 delegates, Professor Yunus expressed, ‘You have a alternative: you’ll be able to reside in a world already constructed or you’ll be able to construct the world you wish to reside in’ with a purpose to attain these objectives.
This session came about on the 2016 One Young World Summit, the world’s premier discussion board for younger leaders, in Ottawa, Canada. The Summit introduced collectively 1,300 delegates from all 196 UN-recognised nations, empowering them to make lasting connections to create constructive change.
